RE:bags Featured in a Design Academy Eindhoven pop up shop - 'The Things We Make' - in the Dutch department store deBijenkorf, the brief was to make a small production. Using the technique of ironing plastic together, I collected and cut up used plastic shopping bags and packaging, such as onion sacks, to make colourful graphic plastic sheets. Due to availability and size of materials, each sheet was different in size and therefore the cutting pattern was standardised in proportion but varying in size. As a result of this process, each bag is unique in its size, pattern, texture and zip colour.
O!WAT O!WAT
O ! O !
